Vincent Martini and Tiara Girdharry pose together on campus after getting engaged.

Vincent Martini and Tiara Girdharry ’23 got engaged during Alumni Reunion Weekend at Mount Saint Mary College.

“Mount Saint Mary College will always hold a special place in our hearts because it's where our story began. We met in the nursing program in 2019, spending countless hours together in class, studying for exams, and supporting each other through the challenges of nursing school and life. We fell in love while being each other’s biggest supporters, best friends, and safe place, building a relationship filled with laughter, shared dreams, and a love that only grew stronger with time.

Over the years, the campus became the backdrop for so many important memories—from long days of lectures and clinicals to quiet walks between classes. Mount Saint Mary College shaped not only our careers as nurses but also the life we've built together.

When it came time to propose, there was no place that felt more meaningful. Returning to the campus where we first met and fell in love made the moment even more special. It felt like the perfect way to honor where our journey began as we looked ahead to our future together.”
